Research is showing us that gaps in classroom time (holidays, summer vacation) can create a significant lag in student development. Let us help you build a bridge for students across the difficult gaps. Techademia Bridge programs are implemented during Out of School Time (afterschool, vacations) to help students stay focused and connected to academic improvement.

AfterSchool Programs

Techademia is currently recruiting partners for afterschool programs in the Bay Area and Central California. Our practice is to work in collaboration with school communities to develop a strong program design that includes:

  • Strong levels of academic enrichment for Common Core, homework support, and test preparation for Smarter Balanced assessments.
  • The creation of enrichment courses and elective programs for students in grades 1-8.
  • Specialized program for Kindergarden students.
  • Field Trips and special programs with partners like Chabot Space and Science museum, Lawrence Hall of Science, and the Exploratorium.
  • Access to implentation of Techademia curriculums like GO GREEN!!!, POWER MOVE, and our Youth Cinema Collective.
  • Strong systems of communication, collaboration, and continuity with your day school program.
  • High levels of digital integration and technology support for students and staff.
  • Regular share outs, shows, and events to build community.

Holiday and Summer Intervention

These programs run in two designs, 1-week and 6-weeks. They are intervention courses that engage students in specially designed programs we develop with your school team to use digital tools to overcome students' obstacles. While we like to run our six week programs in the summer, we do make exceptions to implement them during day school and afterschool programs.

The real advantage to these programs is they that are designed by you and your staff with our help to apply digital integration. You are totally in the driver's seat, as we believe no one knows your students' needs better than you!
