Lucky enough to have them, great! iPad is the high end of educational tablets. Easy to use, fairly durable when placed in cases, and very secure. Price can be a problem. But if you can afford them they are still the best in education. |
iPad Air (Wifi only) 10 packs-$3,740. That's $374 per device! |

ASUS |
Good tablet that uses Android. Not specifically designed for student use, these tablets need great cases. |
Standard price $299. There may be better prices on bulk purchases. We're searching! |
Samsung |
Great thing about this tablet is that it can be used with a larger network of classroom tools: interactive classroom screen, student clickers, learning management software. It's a large endeavor but if you have someone on your team to help you implement the system, the results have been promising. |
The Galaxy Tab 4 Education starts at $369.99. |
Surface |
Good tablet. Easy to use, great battery, awesome specifications. One problem: price. If Microsoft can find a way to make the Surface more cost effective for schools, they could become a much more appealing choice. |
Surface Pro 3 starts at $719.00. |
